July to September (Open 7 Days a Week!)

Along the Waterfront: The Maritime World of Steven Duff
Date: June 5th - August 25th
" Along the Waterfront: The Maritime World of Steven Duff" art exhibit. Featuring works by local artist Steven Duff.
Displayed in the Founder's Room from June 5th - August 25th.

Restoration of the Gathering of the People Art Exhibit
Date: June 21st 2010
"Restoration of the Gathering of the People" by artist Peter Migwans. Displayed in the Museum's Lion's Room from June - August.
Special ceremony in recognition of Aboriginal Day Monday June 21st, 10am - Noon.

Reptiles at Risk On the Road
Date: August 4th
The West Parry Sound District Museum will be hosting Reptiles at Risk on the Road on Wednesday August 4th at 3pm. Come join us for an educational program all about Ontario’s native reptiles! There will have live snakes that you can touch and hold, and the knowledgeable Reptiles at Risk crew will be there to answer your questions. We hope to see you there! War of 1812 Exhibit
Date: September 1st, 2010
The West Parry Sound District Museum will be displaying an exhibit on the War of 1812 courtesy of the Archives of Ontario. The exhibit will be displayed in the Museum's Founder's Room from September 1st - October 31st.

West Parry Sound District Historical Film Society
Date: September 16th
In conjunction with Video Flicks the Museum presents the West Parry Sound District Historical Film Society. Cost: $3 Line Up: Young Hans Christian Anderson, Thurs. Sept. 16th,7pm.
Going Home, Thurs. Oct. 14th, 7pm.
Land and Freedom,Thurs. Nov. 18th, 7pm.
The 9th Company, Dec. 9th, 7pm.
